We spent Thanksgiving Day in Wallsberg, UT at the home of Ralph and Jackie Yarro. Ralph is the brother of my son-in-law Matt. Matt is married to my daughter Colett so we are sort of related. Anyway they include us quite often at holidays and summer outings and we are blessed to be able to do things with them. This day, Thanksgiving was held in their summer home...a beautiful log home that you can get lost in and which they graciously share with others. Ralph is the bishop of a BYU student ward and he had the students that didn't have any place to go for Thanksgiving at this event too.

Son-in-law Wes. Look at the size of those logs!. The wall behind Wes, not his legs.
and a plastered on grin. I think it's pretty cute. She usually has her hand on her hip too but we must have caught her off guard.
Emerson, age 15 months and Isabelle almost 8. She is very attentive to Emerson and it gives Amy a little break. We ate all the regular Thanksgiving items and then went home and had leftovers. I always bake a turkey and make stuffing so we can eat for a couple more days. Wayne likes cornbread stuffing and I always like it the way my Mom made it so we compromised and I make a small pan of cornbread and put it in with my regular recipe. Wayne said this year it was perfect. That is a nice way to top off the holiday. Now make way for the lights, colors and sounds of Christmas.

It really was a fun night! There is just so much to do there, it's hard to decide where to go and what activity to take part in! I must have taken part in eating a lot of sweets that day because it looks like my teeth are brown and rotting out in that picture with Colett and Jackie! Do they look like that in real life? Gross!
Those are some nice photos of you Joan. What is Amy talking about - ??? Funny, we always hate photos of ourselves. But you all looked most handsome and/or beautiful!
Sounds like a great day and you didn't have to cook, even better. I begged off last year because I had my gall bladder surgery just a few days later, so this year I was head chef. It seems like it's more work every year. I didn't even get any pictures taken. By the way, I'm anxiously waiting for your Christmas decorating post. You are going to do one, right?
What wonderful pictures! It looks like you all had a great time. That cracked me up that there is a volleyball court in the basement! :-)
We love Wallsberg! What IS up with Amy's teeth in that pic, weird! Maybe she just ate some chocolate, her teeth DO NOT look like that in real life!
I am excited to know that you have a blog! I am a major blog addict! I love you and I am so excited to stay updated on your life!
