Stacking

Little E learned to stack things for the first time a couple of weeks ago. He found that my baking cupboard was the only one I couldn't tie, rubber band or block shut, so he gets into it all the time.
He also found out that that's where the chocolate chips are kept. He always rearranges everything that is on the shelves. For some reason he usually takes both cocoa tins out first, and then the vintage Tupperware canisters, then the plastic Costco jars. This day he took everything out and started to stack things on top of each other. I use the empty Costco jars for my coconut, brown sugar, etc. and he found out that they can also be used as fun stacking toys so he tried every combination possible to get his stack as high as he is tall. He managed to do it.

This is the before picture.

Here is the first try...notice you have to hold your mouth a certain way to be able to stack correctly.

He's up to three high...look at that proud face which some how has the remnants of chocolate chips on it now. How did that happen?

Here's a different 3 high combo that didn't work.

Here is a 4 high that's pretty good, but not high enough.

Here is the best one.....now he's ready to knock it down, which he did many times as cousin Isabelle looks on. My baking cupboard will never be the same I fear.

Who can blame him for wanting a little chocolate? He doesn't get that from me, I promise! What a silly boy he is!
P.S. I found my hair brush in the toilet today!
