Chips Off the Old Block

I am an artist and crafter at heart and always have been. I was sad when my daughters were growing up because they were "jocks" and wanted nothing to do with creativity most of the time. Amy was a very good golfer and was on the high school golf team and Colett was a track star in high school and her running team had even set a record that lasted for years. I was a runner when I was younger too, but my heart has always been in arts and crafts. Imagine my happy mother's heart when both my daughters wanted to start to have craft days. What???? Yes it's true. They both turned into major artists/crafters right under my nose. They both sew, paint, and craft.

Colett is an artist with paintings in Park City, Provo and in the restaurant of the Pizzeria 712 owner as well as having a booth in the Beehive Bazaar a couple of times a year. Amy was a creative window dresser for Nordstram's, has some items in the Beehive Bazaar and has a craft blog with tutorials. Check them out. Oh yes, I love having chips off the old block now.

Thank you for the nice plug! I always welcome new followers! Now, when are we going to have another craft day??

I have a file of crafts I plan to tackle when I retire. My problem is that I am not creative so I have to copy others ideas. Both your daughters are very talented, like their mother.
